Dr. James M. Kidd, III is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who received his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in 1976. He has completed post- graduate, specialty training in internal medicine at LSU and subspecialty training in allergy and immunology at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology, a conjoint board of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Kidd has published research on food allergy, allergy to animals, occupational allergy, exercise-related allergy, and basic immunology. He is currently active in national allergy societies and has lectured locally, nationally, and internationally regarding his allergy research. Dr. Kidd has obtained the highest ranking membership as Fellow of each: The American Academy of Allergy and Immunology and The American College of Physicians. As of 1997, Dr. Kidd has been listed in Marquis' Who's Who in America.
